1. Who we are
This website, souverain.pro, presents the Souverain messenger system. You can reach us at support@souverain.pro.
2. This website
- No accounts, no forms. The site is read-only. Contact happens through e-mail or telephone at your initiative.
- No analytics, no advertising. We do not use tracking services and we load no third-party scripts or fonts.
- Language choice. On your first visit we pick the language from your browser’s language setting. If none of our languages matches, we derive a country from your IP address using a lookup table on our own server; nothing is sent to a third party and nothing is stored beyond a cookie that remembers your chosen language.
- Cookies. Besides the language cookie, the hosting platform may set technical cookies that are strictly needed to deliver the pages (for example page caching). They contain no personal data.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser) for security and fault finding. They are deleted automatically within the provider’s retention period.
- Hosting. The site is hosted within the European Union.
3. When you contact us
If you e-mail or call us, we keep your message and contact details for as long as needed to answer you and to follow up on a test version or licence. We do not share them with anyone else.
4. The messenger apps
The Souverain apps connect only to the messenger system(s) chosen by the member. Each system is operated by the organisation that deploys it, inside its own perimeter. No phone number, e-mail address or address book is needed to join; a member is a random identity plus a chosen name. Questions about data handled inside a specific system should be addressed to that operating organisation.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to support@souverain.pro. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
6. Changes
We update this page when the website or the way we handle contact data changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
